Sociolinguistic Survey
Sociolinguistic Survey
Sociolinguistic Survey gathers useful information that is essential when planning a language development program for ethnolinguistic communities of Bangladesh. While SIL Bangladesh believes that the ultimate decision for undertaking such a program belongs to these communities, we also recognize that at times the initiative has to come from outside the community. We also recognize that implementation is best done through partnerships with organizations who are experts. We serve ethnolinguistic communities and any interested partners by providing current and useful information.
SIL have conducted Sociolinguistic Survey with twenty nine communities.
