Primary Health Care Training
The aim of the training is to develop a skillful and compassionate health service provider or trainee through the qualitative training who will serve for the hard core deprived community people, especially primary health care and maternal & child health.
It was specially designed by the Lamb Training Centre for the Health Volunteer and project staffs of Health, Education and Livelihood Program (HELP) of SIL International Bangladesh. This is a need based training and the duration of this course is 9 days. Total participants were 15: 4 male and 11 female. Some of them had little previous knowledge of health education and some of them were totally new.
Through this training course, participants were focused strongly on disease prevention rather than treatment of common and infectious diseases and maternal and child health. This course is very helpful for health workers that are working in preventive health programs.
